John Accardi has taught public high school mathematics from Title I remedial mathematics to advanced placement calculus. He's taught in traditional and alternative education settings involving at-risk high school students from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. John mentored and coached many high school students in cross country and track and field. He has also taught college students. John worked in the Information Technology industry for over 25 years developing training curriculum and instructing computer engineers. John's degrees and certifications include: · M.S. Math Education (University of Pennsylvania) · B.S. Mechanical Engineering (University of Pennsylvania) · Secondary Mathematics Teaching Certificates for Colorado, Pennsylvania and Oregon · Post graduate study in Mathematics and Computer Science (UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, and Oregon State University) Nancy Clarke helps students improve their reading comprehension and their writing capabilities. She emphasizes mastery of grammar and helps her students develop their own voice in their writing. She coaches students to improve their ACT and SAT essays and also prepares them for the English and Reading sections of the ACT and the Writing and Reading sections of the SAT. She is also qualified to prepare students for the Geography subject test. Nancy has worked as a Technical Editor and Technical Writer in the computer industry and has more than a dozen years of experience in editing and writing in training and educational environments. She has also worked in high-level administration and education and outreach aspects of non profits focused on science and nature. Nancy holds an Associate of Science degree and a Bachelors of Science degree.
